Just Clear’s journey with Trustpilot

When Just Clear came to Trustpilot over a decade ago they needed to build customer trust and increase engagement and sales. Trust is especially important in the clearance industry to give assurance that all clearances will be handled in a responsible and professional manner. There has been a rise in issues in the UK when it comes to how clearance companies are getting rid of the items they clear out. This includes dumping what they clear into forests, on roads, and in other unsustainable ways that damage local communities. For consumers who care about their communities and the environment at large, finding the right clearance company that will handle their property with care is crucial.

Although Just Clear initially started on Trustpilot’s entry level plan, they quickly saw the value of Trustpilot when it comes to building credibility with consumers and attracting new clients. They upgraded to a more comprehensive plan to take advantage of added review widget options, more ways to showcase reviews in marketing materials, and the ability to use their API to automate review collection and management. The hope was that they could build a stronger brand online and increase inbound inquiries and conversions. The results they’ve been able to achieve have exceeded those expectations.

Once they started taking the time to respond to reviews — and improve their business around customer feedback trends — the number of great reviews only kept growing. Channeling all of this 5-star customer feedback into better marketing results became incredibly easy. And including their TrustScore and reviews throughout their customer journey — everywhere from flyers to key site pages — quickly started showing improved ROI.
